Janine Long has served in ministry for most of her adult life. Along with her husband Randall, they have known the enjoyment as well as pains of ministry. She has three adult children and is known as Oma to nine grandchildren.
One of her favorite things to do is to organize and host parties and events. Celebrating life for any occasion puts a smile on her face and brings joy to her soul. While serving in ministry, Janine experienced two near fatal health events. These have caused her to love life to the fullest as she knows that Jesus extended her time here on earth.
Two of the most difficult words a woman in ministry may use to describe herself are broken and empty. But those words don’t necessarily have to end in brokenness or emptiness. Having lived out those very words, Janine found the most precious time of being made whole and complete. Every time she had nothing left to give, Jesus was so very faithful to fill her with His strength and His joy. Now it is her passion to bring encouragement and hope to other women who may find that ministry and life have completely depleted them. There is beauty that can come from a broken, empty soul when it has been filled and made whole by the perfect love of God.
