While traveling at the age of 19 in Europe & Communist East Germany, Lola Sanford recognized that, as an American, she was blessed with tremendous wealth and opportunity. Convicted by a lack of gratitude, and prompted by the Holy Spirit, her repentance led her to pursue life with Jesus.
Lola and best friend/husband David have been active as both lay leaders and church staff. Both together and individually, they have a wealth of counseling, coaching and encouraging experience. Lola’s most recent sphere of influence has been as a licensed mental health counselor in the state of North Carolina. She has worked in addiction/recovery, marital & family discord, infidelity, grief, aging and life transitions. She is familiar with the isolation, loneliness and concern for confidentiality that is inherent with the role of “Christian Leader.” She endeavors to express a caring heart and a desire to help.
