Before taking the lead role at Standing Stone, Jeramy Clark served in pastoral ministry for almost thirty years in a variety of senior executive, discipleship, and youth roles. While working within the local church, it was his privilege to train and launch many young men and women into ministry. Through all of this, Jeramy clearly saw that ministry leaders too often feel isolated, without a friend or pastor they can turn to and trust.
Jeramy and his wife, Jerusha, feel called to encourage people with the same comfort they received through the ups and downs of life and ministry (see 2 Corinthians 1:3-4). The Clarks identify with the challenges ministry leaders and Standing Stone shepherds face – struggles in ministry, parenting, marriage, and physical health. They love serving God and His people through Standing Stone.
Jeramy received both his Masters of Divinity and Doctorate of Ministry from Talbot Theological Seminary. His doctoral dissertation focused on discipleship within the local church. Jeramy and Jerusha have also authored or co-authored twelve books on subjects ranging from parenting and marriage to spiritual growth and mental health. God has given the Clarks a genuine love for people and deep empathy for them, which makes them a great fit for Standing Stone.
Jeramy and Jerusha have been married since 1998 and have two beautiful adult daughters, Jocelyn and Jasmine. Jeramy enjoys good coffee, the beach, hanging out with his wife & daughters, adventure motorcycle riding, and drumming.
