Marvin Corr

Marvin Corr received Christ as a teenager while living with his mom and 2 older siblings in the inner-city of Saginaw, MI.  Marvin later met Lorrie, his wife, and together with their 7 children they pastored the Bible Baptist Church in Saginaw, MI for over 16 years.
Marvin knows first-hand the pressures of serving the Lord in ministry as a young pastor, while raising a family with small children, and trying to have a successful marriage. The stress of carrying out what the church expects vs. what you as a pastor feel like you must do is very stressful and will eventually take a toll on you, your ministry, and the ones you love the most, your FAMILY!

My best friends are pastors, I speak to a pastor almost every day.  God has given me a true passion for all men, especially pastors.  In addition, I help men walk through sexual, drug and alcohol addictions and much more through my own ministry -beingmindfulmen.

I love watching men trust the promises of the Lord and his word and reclaim their families, their dignity, and their freedom in Christ once again.  My wife, Lorrie, now has a platform to speak to these pastors’ wives about their thoughts and walk with them as they learn to speak when they often feel they have no voice!  She can also walk with them as they seek to meet the needs of their children.

I’m thankful for Standing Stone Ministries and look forward to the opportunity to help many men and women of God and their families as they serve God together.

Pastor give us a call. We know what it’s like to care for so many others while wondering if anyone cares for you and your family.  It’s a true blessing to be married to my best friend for 33 years and watch our children get healthy spiritually. Now we can be a part of helping others do the same.
