Dr. Jim Hanna
Jim has served in ministry for over 40 years. He has served as a Senior Pastor, Associate Pastor as well as a church planter. He has served in men’s ministry, marriage ministry as well as being a small groups pastor. Jim has a heart to help those who are facing the challenges of ministry, marriage, and family. He desires to help those in leadership, process and recover from church hurts.
Jim has experienced both the highs and lows of ministry. He and his wife Liz planted a church in 2000, and then nine years later had to close the church due to the impact of the recession in 2009.
Jim is a certified life, and mental health coach. He has had his own struggles with anxiety and depression and desires to help others know, they’re not alone. His passion is to see pastors and their spouses thrive in ministry, not just survive.
Jim has been married to his bride Elizabeth (Liz) for 40 years, and together they have five children and five grandchildren. They enjoy hiking, biking, exercising, and traveling together. Most of all, they love Papa and Mimi time with their grandkids. Jim is an avid football and basketball fan. He loves reading, listen to podcasts as well as writing. He is the author of “Leadership for L.I.F.E.: A Manual for Developing Leaders Who Last,” as well as the soon to be released, “Identity Theft: Using Romans 8 to Replace the Lies of the Enemy.”
Jim received a diploma from Moody Bible Institute, his Bachelor of Arts from Colorado Christian University, a Master of Divinity from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School, and a Doctor of Ministry in Organizational Leadership, from Bethel University in St. Paul, MN.
Jim looks forward to seeing how God will use this ministry to bring care and compassion to God’s servants.
