Mark has served in pastoral ministry for thirty years in various roles from youth and family to worship and discipleship to executive and teaching to senior and solo pastor. He has enjoyed serving in small, medium, and large churches in Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia. Throughout ministry, Mark has known and experienced the joys and burdens, the blessings and brokenness that come with ministry leadership. He has encountered the isolation and loneliness ministry can cause and how important friends and mentors are to navigating the highs and lows while maintaining a healthy relationship with the ministry. Pastoring is often bittersweet, glorious, and grueling. Mark is most grateful for how God takes all of it and turns it into an opportunity. His prayer is that God will bring health and flourishing to the Bride of Christ through serving and shepherding local church leaders. Mark’s years of ministry have sparked an increasing desire to come alongside pastors at all stages of their ministry calling. His goal is to encourage and guide them to pursue increasing health personally, resulting in flourishing ministry.
Mark has been married to Holly since 1993, and they have two children, Mackenzie and Ethan. Mark’s hobbies include playing bass guitar, reading, riding motorcycle with Holly, and anything that brings his family together to have fun.
