Erik Willits

Erik came to know the Lord in middle school in the context of a small, healthy local church. Not long after, he sensed a call to pastor God’s people and preach the Gospel. Erik spent his early ministry life as a itinerate evangelist, traveling the country speaking at churches, camps and retreats. He loved preaching the Bible but also found great joy in connecting with pastors and ministry leaders wherever he found himself. Over the next 15 years, he served on the frontlines of ministry as a youth pastor, young adult pastor and church planter.
Knowing firsthand the joys and struggles pastors experience, Erik has a passion to walk alongside burnt out, hurting, and struggling ministry leaders. In difficult times, no pastor or ministry leader should feel isolated or alone, yet over 50% of pastors say they don’t have anyone to honestly share in their struggles. Erik’s vision is to connect and care for ministry leaders, offering presence and partnership in the challenging terrain of ministry life.

Erik lives in Franklin, TN with his wife, Andrea, and their three children, Jack, Reese, and Soren. He has ministry degrees from Olivet Nazarene University and Nashotah House Theological Seminary. Erik is an ordained Anglican priest in the Diocese of Churches for the Sake of Others and serves at Good Shepherd Nashville, a church plant on the west side of Nashville, TN. Erik also enjoys woodworking, smoking meat on the grill, reading good books, and listening to podcasts.
