Joy Apple

Joy has been married to Chuck Apple going on 42 years. They met at North Central University in Minneapolis where they were both freshman class officers. She completed her degree in Interdisciplinary Ministries and used her training in their many years of ministry both in the church and in the workplace.
She considers her greatest accomplishment to be her four married children, who are all serving the Lord and involved either as pastors or leaders in their churches, as well as their delightful eight grandchildren – the joy of her life.

Serving alongside her husband for all of their married life in church ministry, she has been an office manager, secretary, accountant, music and choir director, teacher, counselor, café manager and guest services director – doing whatever was needed as a pastor’s wife and partner. She also has served many other pastors around the country as a remote executive assistant.

Joy enjoys playing the piano and working outdoors, second only to spending time with her family.
