Amy Brand

Cory and Amy Brand have been in full-time, vocational ministry together for over 20 years. Cory has served as a youth pastor, pastor of discipleship and pastoral care, and most recently as family pastor. He stepped out of a vocational role within the local church at the end of 2022 to launch a respite and retreat location for ministry leaders in Texas. Amy taught in public schools for 14 years while serving as a ministry spouse and has now been on staff as a Preschool and Children’s Minister for the last 11 years. She is still currently serving in that capacity.

Cory and Amy currently live in Brownwood, TX and have three grown children, two boys and a girl. The oldest and youngest are married, but no grandchildren yet!

Throughout their years in ministry, they’ve had their own personal struggles and have seen way too many friends and colleagues in ministry who have burned out, self-destructed, had huge moral failings, watched their marriages and families fall apart, or just served out of their own strength and neglected their own spiritual health. Cory and Amy want to not only help those in crisis or approaching crisis, but also want to be part of facilitating healthy patterns of spiritual and relational habits to help prevent many of these issues.

Standing Stone absolutely lines up with their hearts to shepherd shepherds, and they are thankful for the opportunity to invest deeply and maintain relationships with others in ministry.
