David Brown

In the span of over four decades David has had the privilege of leading in several ministry areas which have included: Jr. High Pastor, Youth Pastor, Associate Pastor, Founding Pastor of two churches, where he concluded his last pastorate serving for 27 years as Lead Pastor. Along the way, he has also had a wide experience as a Bivocational Pastor, Denominational Leader, Licensed Life Coach and is currently a part time Business Chaplain.

Both Donna (his wife of 42 years) and David received a divine directive to lead within the local church and that calling has set them up well for being a Field Shepherd with Standing Stone. David is convinced that there is a huge need for ministry leaders to be personally supported, loved, and cared for in their unique calling. With his continuing love for God and His people, he is ready through this next season to serve and support the advancement of the gospel through its leaders. His drive for deep relationships, listening skills and wholesome heart will serve him well.

David and Donna live in the Pacific Northwest where they raised their two children while pastoring, and today both of their children and their spouses are busy serving in their churches. When he is not with Donna hiking or kayaking, you’ll find him sitting at a coffee house with a good friend or on the golf course or tending his backyard garden. But before he does any of these, there are 8 grandchildren that need their Papa.

One thing is for sure, David’s Life verse will be evident in the days to come “His good heart made him a good shepherd; he guided the people wisely and well. (Ps. 78:72 MSG)
