Donna has been married to her college sweetheart David for 42 years. Together they have been youth pastors, associate pastors, lead pastors and have planted two churches, the last of which they just retired from after 27 years. They raised their two children while pastoring, and today both of their children and their spouses are in a loving relationship with God and serve in their local church. Donna worked full time as a teacher to English Language Learners in the public school system during their pastoring years.
She has served in the church through leading women's ministry, leading ladies bible studies, teaching children in Sunday School and being part of the worship team. It is Donna's passion to meet with ladies one on one. Currently Donna and David volunteer four weeks a year to provide respite for pastors and their spouses and Donna is a volunteer with a non profit who supports foster children by providing clothing, books, and other items they need.
Their hearts are to see ministry workers and their spouses thrive in ministry. Donna has lived the challenge of finding balance between juggling full time work outside the home, raising children and being fully involved in the ministry with her husband. She knows what it is like to feel loneliness in ministry and to need to share her time with her husband and the church. She longs to provide a safe place for women in ministry to process disappointments, share concerns and to feel loved and heard. Donna longs to share in the joys of ministry and to celebrate with women their role as a ministry leader or spouse, and coming alongside and offering hope and praying with women as they grow in health in their relationship with their spouse, children and with God.
David and Donna live in the Pacific Northwest where they enjoy spending time outdoors kayaking and hiking. Donna loves to quilt, read, take long walks, water aerobics and enjoys spending time with her eight grandchildren.
