Michelle and her husband, Steve, have been married since June 1986. They have two wonderful children, both married, and 3 (and one on the way) grandchildren. Pops and Nana love their grands!
Professionally, Michelle and her husband started, ran, and sold an IT (information technology) business. They had the business for 28 years and were blessed to sell in December 2016. Michelle’s ministry consists of many mission trips starting in the summer of 1987. These trips range from in-country trips with teens to multiple international trips with her home congregation, school trips with their kids, and trips with Hope International to fellowship/work with savings and microfinance groups. Michelle and Steve have also walked alongside many pastors/ministry leaders, and others throughout their adult lives. Michelle is very active in her home congregation as a teacher, committee leader, volunteer, etc.
Michelle has completed the Spiritual Leadership Coach certification program through Blackaby Ministries. She has also completed the Formational Care certification program through Healing Care Ministries. Michelle understands the loneliness leadership can create and seeks to help others find a place to be real, feel safe, and be loved with the love of Jesus.
Michelle enjoys spending time with her family, taking care of her small menagerie of animals on their farm, reading, and travel.
