Having been married to Gary, the love of her life for 48 years Christine has walked alongside him for 36 of those years as a pastor's wife. In preparation for those years God used godly mentors and friends to encourage and challenge her to choose God's way over man's and to intentionally deepen her relationship with God and her husband.
During the years of ministry Christine served as Children's Director, janitor, women's Bible Study Life Group leader, Retreat speaker, counselor, Divine Design coordinator, Camp cook and has led seminars with Gary on marriage and on parenting. She loves to open her home to minister to others, even housing them for 2 weeks to a year. Christine has also joined her husband on trips to a variety of mission fields to encourage and support missionaries as well.
Through those 36 years Christine experienced the joys as well as frustrations and pain of ministry. She understands the pressures and loneliness of this unique position. Having walked through a period of her own deep depression she experienced God's healing and wisdom for continued emotional health. That difficult time helped her understand the need of women to have safe places to share their fears, doubts and concerns without judgement. Christine has a desire to encourage and support her sisters in ministry. Since she has walked the unique calling of a pastor's wife for many years she wants to come alongside other ministry women to offer a heart that understands, an ear to listen and wisdom to help.
God has gifted her with the gifts of faith, hospitality, encouragement and intercession. She desires to use these to minister to these women and help them walk alongside their husbands with joy and confidence that God has them in the palm of His hand and has not abandoned them.
Christine and Gary have 4 grown married children and 15 grandchildren.
