Connie Hansen

Connie knows firsthand of the heartache a broken marriage brings to a family. She raised her daughter on her own from the age of six without the support or presence of a father. Knowing our Heavenly Father would be the most important example of love and forgiveness, she and her daughter dedicated their lives to learning more about our Redeemer and walking daily with Christ.
Connie became a pastor's wife ten years ago when she married her beloved Al. However, because Al's ministry was in delivering marriage ceremonies out of state, she did not serve in a church as a traditional pastor's wife alongside her husband. Her passion at church was singing in her choir, sharing the blessings of our Lord through songs and learning more about God's Word through Bible studies.

When Connie was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2013, she was thrown into trusting God to see us through this devastating trial. Our God works in such mysterious ways! Not only did she overcome, but she found a new passion for loving and giving hope to those who are newly diagnosed. She now volunteers part time with the Breast Link Center in Orange as a patient survivor. She works with newly diagnosed patients, listening and loving on them through their journey. She tells us that having breast cancer was a blessing because of how Christ molded her through this trial. She would never trade the experience as she would have never met the amazing group of "Pink Sisters" she has befriended since becoming a survivor.

Connie continues to work full time as an Insurance Agent for a small independent agency and looks forward to supporting her husband Al in Standing Stone. Al and Connie have two daughters and three grandchildren
