Dave and Becky Friese

Dave and Becky have been married in 1983 and have four adult children who love the Lord. In 2014 they co-founded Restore and Rebuild Ministries. Their non-profit focuses on three areas of ministry: 1) affordable Christian counseling, 2) resources for families, and 3) support for people in helping professions. They are excited about working with Standing Stone Ministries as they seek to shepherd the shepherds.
Becky is a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She received her M.A. in Marital and Family Therapy from Bethel Seminary in San Diego. She has advanced training in Emotionally Focused Therapy. In addition, she has many years of experience working with youth and families in both clinical settings and in churches. She has spoken at a variety of seminars, conferences and classes.

Dave is a pastoral counselor and president of Restore and Rebuild Ministries. He has been a pastor for over thirty years. His primary focus has been with youth and families. Dave has developed and supervised the counseling ministries at churches, and he has a passion for mentoring others. He has spoken at numerous conventions, camps, classes and seminars. He is a charter member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC). He has been trained by Peace Keeper Ministry. He is a trained facilitator for PREP, Torn Asunder Ministry, Marriage Strong, and Prepare Enrich.

Dave has a Masters in Christian Education from Talbot Seminary and is currently finishing his Doctorate in Educational Ministry with an emphasis on Marriage, Family and Counseling at Dallas Theological Seminary. His dissertation is "When a pastor experiences conflict in his church and subsequently leaves the church, how does this impact his wife?" Pastors' wives are often overlooked. Dave and Becky are excited about partnering with Standing Stone who has a passion to reach both the pastors and their wives.
