Mark George

Mark met his wife Jackie while working for her dad in the auction business. Three steak dinner dates three nights in a row and they were engaged!! That's been 42+ years ago, three grown kids and 2 grands later. Three months after they married God issued the ministry call and off to seminary they went.

Mark has served as a Pastor, Associate Pastor and Chaplain. In the midst of those 42+ years Mark QUIT, burned out, dried up and returned to his secular profession as an auctioneer. It took him a while (a 12 year wilderness journey) to figure out just what brought on "the quit". Finally, and obviously with the Lord's help, he realized that what had happened was that his walk had become purely professional and not nearly so personal. That's all been corrected now!! And for the past 10+ years Mark has been walking alongside pastors who have developed a "limp" in their personal and thus their professional walk as a pastor/ministry leader.

Mark desires to spend the rest of his days walking along side pastors/ ministry leaders who need encouraging and being that someone they can trust and confide in who's been "there".

Mark and Jackie call Surfside Beach, SC their last earthly abode. They still dabble in the junque business (actually new farmhouse & industrial home decor that they sell as vendors in a couple different antique and collectors malls). They enjoy traveling in their RV and spending some time in FL with their 2 grands.

2 Cor. 1:3-4 very much encapsulates Mark's passion for other pastors. He's been "there", done that, got the T-Shirt and a few scars, BUT God!!
