Katie Wilson

Katie has been a pastor's wife for more than 30 years and has served the Lord alongside her husband, Ken, in various ministry roles in the church. She has a heart for those serving in ministry and she understands the unique challenges, pressures, opportunities, expectations, disappointments, surprises, sorrows and joys that come with the calling. Her desire is to offer caring, safe, and confidential support to ministry wives and women in ministry with a listening ear, a little humor, a prayerful spirit, and words of encouragement to help strengthen them in their relationships with the Lord, their families, and the church, so they will "not grow weary of doing good" (Gal. 6:9).
Katie has served the church in the roles of nursery worker, Sunday school teacher, youth group leader, women's ministry leader, hospitality service, Bible study group leader and MOPS mentor mom. She loves spending time with family and their long-haired dachshund, Jack, as well as baking, reading, and traveling. Katie is a graduate of Biola University with a BA in Christian Education and she and Ken have two beautiful grown daughters, one wonderful son-in-law, and two precious grandchildren. Katie and Ken are privileged to serve together as Standing Stone Shepherds to promote the spiritual health and wellbeing of pastors and their wives.
