Dan was in pastoral ministry for over thirty years, mostly in the Phoenix area. After becoming disenchanted with ministry, Dan took a 10-year hiatus many years ago to build an investment advisory firm. Through a series of unexpected twists and turns, God brought Dan back into pastoral ministry – including serving as the senior pastor of his last church for 23 years.
Dan is highly committed to a younger generation of leaders and completed a successful ministry transition of his own. He also served two churches in generational transition through a merger process. Dan meets regular with pastors and ministry leaders and enjoys providing a safe place for leaders to share their struggles in life and ministry.
Dan and his wife have been married for 43 years, have two adult children who are married and four grandsons. He enjoys time with his family, entertaining, golf, and travel. He holds degrees from Westminster College (B.A.), The Vancouver School of Theology (M.Div.) and Phoenix Seminary (D.Min.)
