Rob Harris

Rob grew up in the coal fields of southern West Virginia and came to faith during his high school years. While studying Radio/TV Broadcasting at Marshall University, he felt a clear call to ministry. After graduating from Marshall, he pursued a degree in Ministry/Bible at Kentucky Christian University.

In 1989, Rob married Lara, and together they embraced vocational ministry, raising three daughters and welcoming a wonderful son-in-law along the way. Over the years, Rob has served as Worship Pastor in churches across Kentucky and Tennessee, where he and Lara navigated both the joys and challenges of full-time ministry. Their journey has included healing from the pain and disillusionment of profound church hurt, which has deepened Rob's passion for authentic, grace-filled leadership.

Between ministry seasons, Rob spent a decade in retail sales, specializing in customer service, before returning to ministry in 2021 as a Shepherd with Standing Stone. Lara also serves as a Standing Stone Shepherd.

A few fun facts about Rob:

· He is a Singer/Songwriter who has led worship at churches, conferences, and events for over forty years.

· He enjoys movies and is an avid autograph collector.

· He is the distant cousin of two former U.S. Presidents: George Washington and William Henry Harrison.

· Despite the claims of the song, he sincerely doubts that everyone was, in fact, kung fu fighting.

· He is a lifelong Batman fan.

Because he believes ministry flows out of genuine relationships, Rob is passionate about offering pastors and ministry leaders a safe, confidential space to pursue spiritual health.

He and Lara currently reside in Nashville, TN.
