Dear Friends and Supporters,
As you know, ministry leaders face immense pressures—many are overtired, isolated, and burned out. While the statistics speak to the severity of this crisis, today we want to share a different perspective: a story of hope.
We’re witnessing something remarkable at Standing Stone—a flourishing among pastors and shepherds. This transformation is reflected not only in the hundreds of personal testimonies we receive from the ministry leaders we care for, but also in Barna Group data showing real improvements in pastors’ well-being.
Your investment is making a tangible difference. We’re moving the needle.
Yet, our work is far from over. The Church still faces unprecedented challenges, and we believe God is using Standing Stone to be a ministry on the front lines of His restoration in the world.
By God’s grace, 2024 has been our biggest year of growth yet. We’re on track to onboard 85 new shepherds this year, a 30%+ growth in our organization. By year-end, 280 Standing Stone shepherds will be caring for over 3,300 ministry leaders monthly across the United States and around the world.
With growth comes the responsibility to steward God’s blessings. To continue this important work, we urgently need to build the infrastructure and team required to support our growing shepherd base serving on the front lines. We must reinvest in our ministry to uphold God’s vision, because the only way to bring pastors to health is by ensuring that our organization remains healthy too.
To sustain this vital work, we’re launching a giving campaign under the theme, Flourishing, with a year-end goal to raise $400,000. These resources are essential to train, coach, and equip the Standing Stone Shepherds who are out there restoring the Church.
Funds from The Flourishing Campaign will empower us to:
- Recruit more of the right shepherds to guide the next generation of ministry leaders.
- Implement a leadership development program and ensure that every shepherd is in a supportive cohort.
- Create and deliver educational resources and a shepherding toolkit to expand our shepherds’ skills.
- Build scalable operational infrastructure and implement protocols to support our growth.
- Provide essential services, software, and resources for our shepherds.
- Expand our staffing support for our shepherds.
We truly believe that the work we’re doing now will be instrumental in shaping the future of Standing Stone and the Church for the next decade.
